HBB Diamond Wire for Concrete & Steel Cutting in Japan

We are pleased to share that our wires are now widely used in Japan, where recent projects have demonstrated excellent performance, particularly in reinforced concrete cutting.

One of our valued customers based in Kansai and some other regions, Japan, recently used our HBB Diamond Wires for cutting reinforced concrete, and has also begun using our wires for cutting heavily reinforced materials and metals including steel, pig iron, and copper. The project utilized both our CWH and CWS series, with cutting results exceeding expectations in both speed and durability.

The customer also reported successful results using our Pagoda Diamond Wire, a uniquely designed wire with a three-step structure that improves cutting efficiency by reducing the contact area between the bead and material. The Pagoda wire also features up to 2–3 times more diamond content than most electroplated and vacuum brazed wires, and benefits from our in-house developed 3DP Diamond Placement Technology, which ensures optimal diamond distribution.

The customer noted the wire had “a lot of diamonds placed accurately” and reported that it cut extremely well. The Pagoda wire was specifically designed for high-speed cutting and has proven itself in both cutting performance and service life.
